V-TEC DH618 Outdoor Video Door Station

The V-TEC DH618 is a modern digital video door station designed for compatible V-TEC DH Series intercom systems.

Its slim design incorporates a built-in camera, electronic display, visitor call button and audio communication functions.

When a visitor presses the call button, the connected DH482 indoor monitor alerts the resident and displays the camera image.

You can then communicate with the visitor and, where a compatible electric lock is connected, grant access without opening the door manually.

V-TEC DH482 7-Inch Wi-Fi Indoor Monitor

The V-TEC DH482 is a modern 7-inch colour touchscreen monitor designed for compatible DH Series digital video intercom installations.

Featuring a 1024 × 600 IPS display, it allows residents to view visitors, answer calls and operate supported door-entry functions through an intuitive interface.

Unlike an audio-only indoor station, the DH482 provides a live video image from the outdoor station.

Smartphone Connectivity & Remote Access

One of the main advantages of this kit is the DH482 monitor's Wi-Fi connectivity.

By connecting the monitor to a suitable home Wi-Fi network and configuring the supported application, customers can access compatible remote intercom features.

Depending on the installed firmware and application, these can include:

Receiving supported visitor calls on a smartphone
Viewing the outdoor door station camera remotely
Speaking with visitors through two-way audio
Operating supported door-release functions remotely

Important: Smartphone features require a suitable internet connection, compatible firmware, supported mobile software and correct system programming.

The supported application may vary according to the monitor firmware supplied. App availability and individual functions should be confirmed during configuration.

Basic local intercom communication can operate without an internet connection once the wired system is correctly installed and powered.

Digital 2-Wire BUS Technology

The V-TEC DH Series uses a dedicated digital 2-wire BUS system for communication between compatible indoor and outdoor devices.

This can simplify intercom cabling and may allow suitable existing two-core wiring to be reused.

The condition, length, topology and suitability of any existing wiring must be checked before installation.

Please Note: DH Series devices are not automatically interchangeable with V-TEC DT Series, conventional analogue intercoms or standard PoE intercom equipment.

PC9D Intercom Power Supply Included

The kit includes a V-TEC PC9D system power supply, designed for compatible DH Series video intercom equipment.

The PC9D provides system power and BUS distribution for the connected intercom components.

The PC9D must be installed using the appropriate wiring arrangement and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Separate Power Supply for Electric Door Lock

In addition to the PC9D intercom power supply, this kit includes a separate power supply intended for a compatible electric door lock.

This allows the lock to receive its required operating power separately from the intercom BUS system.

Important: The selected electric lock must be compatible with the voltage, current and switching arrangement of the supplied lock power supply.

An electric door lock is not included unless specifically stated. Please confirm lock compatibility before installation.

IMPORTANT: This product is supplied strictly as a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) intercom kit.

Installation is NOT included or provided.

Customers are responsible for:

Planning the installation and checking system suitability
Mounting the outdoor video door station
Mounting the indoor Wi-Fi monitor
Running and connecting the required intercom wiring
Installing and connecting the power supplies correctly
Connecting any compatible electric door lock or gate equipment
Connecting the monitor to the home Wi-Fi network where required
Completing the physical installation and testing the system

We do not install DIY intercom kits. Customers must complete the installation themselves or arrange their own independent installer.

Any work involving mains electrical connections must be performed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations, by a suitably qualified person where required.

Optional System Programming at Our Premises

Although we do not provide installation services for DIY kits, we can offer system programming and configuration assistance together with the customer at our premises if required.

Depending on the equipment and requirements, this may include:

Indoor monitor and outdoor station setup
Supported calling and door-release settings
Guidance with compatible smartphone application setup
Supported network and remote-access configuration where practical

All programming assistance takes place at our premises only.

It does not include physical installation, on-site Wi-Fi configuration, internet router troubleshooting, cabling work or visits to the customer's property.

Smartphone operation at the installation location depends on the customer's internet connection and Wi-Fi coverage.

Faults, Warranty & After-Sales Support

As this product is supplied as a DIY kit, we do not provide on-site fault-finding, troubleshooting, repairs or technical visits for DIY intercom installations.

If the outdoor station, indoor monitor, power supply or another supplied component develops a suspected fault, the affected equipment must be brought to our premises for inspection and assessment.

Customers are responsible for safely disconnecting and bringing the relevant equipment to us.

We do not attend the installation location to inspect, diagnose or resolve faults on DIY systems.

All warranty claims, fault inspections and after-sales procedures are handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer rights.
