V-TEC DH618 Outdoor Door Station

The V-TEC DH618 is a slim digital outdoor door station designed for compatible DH Series 2-wire intercom installations.

Its modern appearance includes a built-in camera, a dedicated visitor call button and audio communication functions.

When a visitor presses the call button, the compatible indoor station rings, allowing the resident to answer and communicate directly with the person at the entrance.

The DH618 also features a Full HD 1080p camera, which can be used with suitable compatible DH video monitors if the system is expanded or upgraded.

Please Note: Although the outdoor station includes a camera, this particular kit is supplied with a DH11 audio-only indoor station. The DH11 does not display video footage.

V-TEC DH11 Audio Indoor Station

The V-TEC DH11 is a compact audio indoor station designed for convenient visitor communication and entrance control.

Its simple button-operated design allows residents to answer incoming calls and operate supported door-entry functions.

Important: This indoor station does not feature a display, Wi-Fi connectivity or built-in smartphone answering.

Digital 2-Wire BUS Technology

The V-TEC DH Series uses a dedicated digital 2-wire BUS system, simplifying the connection between compatible intercom components.

Power and communication are distributed through the appropriate system wiring and power-supply equipment.

This can be particularly useful for residential installations where suitable two-core wiring is already available.

However, existing cabling must be checked for condition, cable type, distance and compatibility before reuse.

Please Note: V-TEC DH Series equipment is not automatically interchangeable with V-TEC DT Series or other manufacturers' intercom components.

PC9D Intercom Power Supply Included

The kit includes a V-TEC PC9D power supply, designed for the DH Series digital intercom system.

The PC9D provides the appropriate system power and BUS distribution required for compatible DH intercom equipment.

The PC9D must be installed and connected according to the manufacturer's electrical and wiring instructions.

Separate Power Supply for Electric Door Lock

For added convenience, this DIY kit also includes an additional power supply intended for a compatible electric door lock.

This allows the electric lock to receive power separately from the intercom BUS system, where required by the selected lock and wiring arrangement.

Important: The power supply must be correctly matched to the voltage and current requirements of the electric lock being installed.

An electric door lock itself is not included unless specifically stated. The customer must ensure the chosen lock is compatible with the system and available power supply.

DIY Installation – Please Read Before Purchasing

IMPORTANT: This product is supplied strictly as a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) intercom kit for self-installation.

Installation is NOT included or provided.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Planning the installation and checking system suitability
  • Installing and mounting the outdoor door station
  • Installing the indoor audio station
  • Running and connecting the required intercom wiring
  • Installing and correctly connecting the power supplies
  • Connecting any compatible electric door lock
  • Completing the physical installation and testing the system

We do not install DIY intercom kits. Customers must complete the installation themselves or arrange their own independent installer.

Any work involving mains electrical connections must be carried out safely and in accordance with applicable electrical regulations, by a suitably qualified person where required.

Optional System Programming at Our Premises

Although installation is not provided, we can offer system programming and configuration assistance together with the customer at our premises if required.

Depending on the equipment and requirements, this may include basic system setup, addressing and supported intercom configuration.

All programming assistance takes place at our premises only.

It does not include physical installation, on-site wiring, electrical work or visits to the customer's property.

Faults, Warranty & After-Sales Support

As this product is supplied as a DIY kit, we do not provide on-site fault-finding, troubleshooting, repairs or technical visits for DIY intercom installations.

If the outdoor station, indoor station, power supply or another supplied component develops a suspected fault, the affected equipment must be brought to our premises for inspection and assessment.

Customers are responsible for safely disconnecting and bringing the relevant equipment to us.

We do not attend the installation location to inspect, diagnose or resolve faults on DIY intercom systems.

All warranty claims, fault inspections and after-sales procedures are handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer rights.
