The monitor also includes convenient physical touch controls for frequently used functions, including answering calls, monitoring and unlocking.

Wi-Fi Connectivity & Smartphone Access

The DH-7G supports Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing compatible remote intercom functions when connected to a suitable home network and internet connection.

The manufacturer's Tuya-enabled DH7G version supports the Tuya Smart Life mobile application for compatible iOS and Android smartphones.

Hands-Free Two-Way Video Communication

When a visitor presses the call button on a compatible outdoor door station, the DH-7G displays the visitor's image and provides an audible call alert.

The resident can answer the call using the touchscreen or supported control button, speak with the visitor and operate a compatible electric door lock when required.

Hands-free communication eliminates the need for a traditional telephone handset.

Electric Door Release

The DH-7G supports door unlocking through a compatible DH Series outdoor station and the appropriate electric lock-control equipment.

Residents can operate the primary door-release function using the monitor's unlock control.

Additional door-release functions may be available depending on the outdoor station, installed relay equipment and system configuration.

Important: The DH-7G does not directly power an electric lock. A compatible lock interface and suitable lock power supply may be required.

Visitor Call Records & MicroSD Recording

The DH-7G provides visitor call-recording functions, allowing residents to review supported incoming calls and associated recordings.

The monitor includes a microSD card slot and supports compatible memory cards up to 512GB.

Recording duration and functionality depend on the installed system, memory card and selected settings.

Monitoring of Compatible IP Cameras

In addition to displaying compatible outdoor door station cameras, the DH-7G can support selected ONVIF IP cameras.

Compatible camera integration allows residents to view additional camera feeds through the indoor monitor.

Supported IP cameras must use compatible video-stream settings. The manufacturer's instructions specify H.264-compatible video streams for IP camera integration.

Network configuration and additional equipment, such as the optional DH-LAN interface, may be required depending on the installation.

Internal Intercom & Do Not Disturb

The DH-7G supports internal communication between compatible indoor stations in appropriately configured DH Series systems.

Where multiple indoor monitors are installed, residents can use supported internal calling functions between rooms or apartments.

The monitor also includes a Do Not Disturb function for temporarily or continuously muting incoming call alerts.

Selectable call settings, ringtone volume and quick-access functions provide additional convenience.

V-TEC DH Series Digital 2-Wire Technology

The DH-7G operates using the dedicated V-TEC / 2EASY DH Series digital 2-wire BUS system.

Video, audio and system power are transmitted through the compatible two-wire intercom installation.

The built-in Wi-Fi is used for supported network and smartphone functions and does not replace the required wired BUS connection.

Important: The DH-7G is not a standard Ethernet PoE monitor and should not be connected directly to a PoE network switch. It is also not automatically compatible with V-TEC DT Series intercom equipment.
