The DH618 features a 2-megapixel Starlight camera capable of delivering Full HD 1080p video through a compatible DH Series digital intercom system.

Two-Way Video & Audio Communication

When a visitor presses the outdoor call button, the DH618 sends a call to the corresponding compatible indoor station.

With a compatible video monitor, the resident can:

Compatible intercom devices communicate through the system's two-wire connection, simplifying installation compared with traditional multi-core video intercom systems.

Suitable existing two-core cabling may be reusable when its condition, conductor size, length and installation layout meet the manufacturer's requirements.

The DH618 is compatible with selected DH Series power supplies, including:

Electric Door Lock Control

The DH618 includes a built-in dry-contact relay output for controlling a compatible electric door lock or suitably interfaced gate controller.

The manufacturer specifies a dry-contact relay with a current rating of up to 3A.

As this is a dry-contact output, an appropriate separate power supply may be required for the electric lock.

The lock power supply must match the lock's voltage and current requirements, and the entire switching arrangement must comply with the manufacturer's electrical ratings.

Important: The DH618 should not be assumed to provide a powered 12V lock output. Refer to the manufacturer's wiring diagram before connecting an electric lock or gate controller.

Second Door or Gate Control

The DH618 features one built-in dry-contact lock relay.

Customers who need to operate a second independently controlled electric door lock or gate must use an additional compatible DH Series lock-control interface or relay solution, where supported by the system.

Any additional lock-control equipment, external power supplies and wiring must be selected according to the manufacturer's compatibility and installation requirements.

Please Note: DT Series relay modules, including the DT-RLC, should not be assumed compatible with the DH618. Additional lock-control equipment is not included unless specifically stated.

Important Installation & Compatibility Information

The DH618 must be connected to compatible V-TEC DH Series equipment using the appropriate two-wire BUS arrangement and system power supply.

Electric locks must be wired according to the manufacturer's dry-contact relay diagram, using a suitable external lock power supply where required.

Customers replacing an older DH outdoor station should confirm that their indoor monitors support the DH618 1080p camera and update their monitor firmware where necessary.

The outdoor station does not connect directly to a standard Ethernet PoE network switch and does not independently connect to Wi-Fi.
