The AMS9040 Controller powers Sensormatic’s concealed detection systems, Door-Max and Pro-Max, to provide maximum AM EAS detection performance with efficient management of power consumption. Its Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and filter technologies ensure superior performance in high-noise environments, automatically adjusting to account for changing surroundings. Dependent on the configuration, this controller supports up to eight antennas and external alarm interfaces for the integration of additional audio alarms, video connections or enhanced detection features. The latest software automatically detects the type of antenna being used. It also provides set-up options including backfield reduction and a spectrum analyzer function that applies the most accurate filters for optimal performance, while providing the ‘Tags-Too-Close’ and Jammer Detection features.

The AMS9040 collects EAS alarm and traffic counting data from connected compatible devices and delivers this data to connected data management devices to help better manage store operations.
