The Essentials 1.8m ABS Self-Contained Pedestal is a reliable, affordable anti-theft solution. Its modern, durable design blends seamlessly into any retail setting, yet provides a strong visual deterrent against theft. The on-board electronics are contained within the base cover of the primary pedestal, eliminating the need for an external controller and reducing installation and maintenance costs. To support green initiatives, this system uses less than 50W of energy per hour to help lower energy costs while supplying EAS protection up to 1.8m (6ft) between pedestals. The integrated alarm located in the base of the primary pedestal uses a distinguished audible alarm to notify store personnel if protected merchandise passes through the detection zone. Each pedestal also fully illuminates with a blue (standard) or red (optional) illumination scheme for visual notification and deterrence during an alarm event.
